Jubilee of Youth Pilgrimage
Donation protected
26 young people from the Neocatechumenal communities of St Clare's in Preston and St John Vianney in Blackpool are going on pilgrimage to experience the Jubilee for Youth during this Jubilee Year of Hope.
So far they have paid around £26,000 of a total of £35,000. As this is the last month of fundraising, we really need a last push. Most of these young people are still at school and are unable to fund everything themselves - so getting to £26,000 already is amazing and has taken a lot of hard work.
They will be staying in Assisi and visiting many different places such as La Verna, Porto San Giorgio, Rome and Arezzo. Towards the end of the pilgrimage, all of those who are going, will go through the Holy Door at St Peters Basilica. There will also be a meeting for vocational callings for the priesthood or religious life. This pilgrimage is a great opportunity for these young people to experience different places which mean a lot to their faith. As in previous pilgrimages, the fruits of this experience are profound and deeply effect the lives of the the young people. Any help will be fantastic
