It is with a heavy heart, that I write this tribute to my mother. Anyone that knew her, knew how full of life she was. She was the most caring, compassionate, loving human being I ever had the privilege of knowing. Last year she suffered respiratory arrest, which eventually lead her to not fully breathe on her own. My mother's last year was spent living in a nursing facility with a breathing tube, constant hospital visits, and various medical procedures. Unfortunately on Friday December 11th she tested positive for Covid 19, due to an outbreak at the nursing facility. I am stunned and speechless and hurting from the depths of my soul. My mother meant the world to me and my family. She is my hero, such a strong warrior who never gave up. Sadly she lost the battle against Covid 19 and on December 14th she peacefully passed. In this rough time any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
