Still feeling the wave of emptiness and shock that on the 24th of January the heavens have opened above to embrace one of their own. Juana Maria Medina Cerda Alduey passed away after a hard fought battle against Covid 19. She was a Mother to 3 Sons an adopted Daughter. In reality she was a Mother to many more. A truly encouraging Sister and Aunt to some and Soul Sister to other. Who offered a shoulder to lean & cry on for anyone in need. A Wife and a Guiding Heart of Truth and Love. A 4' 8" Full of Class filled with Positive influence, Contagious laugh, always filled with Lasting Hope. A Grandmother giving out kisses of love, joy and a sense of sassy “Can Do Attitude”. A Great Grandmother with an incredible smile that was passed down through generations. You will be missed but never forgotten, the sense of your presents will be felt as you fly over our heads with your angel wings and the pressure on our back will be landing on our shoulders of need. I love you mom now and forever.

MEMORIES – Mom always said “Dios sabe lo que hace, solo necesitamos tener fe '' and with that she gilded many souls through hard times and glorious joy, hope and excitement. There are many people out there that felt the love, joy and spirit that was Juanita. We want to collect the all stories of the people that she affected and tell to the world. Releasing a documentary on her Birthday with stories of all the people she affected and how meeting her might have changed your life. Nothing would make her more happier than for all of us to remember exactly who she was, what she stood for, and to hear about all the lives she impacted would make cry. If you have memories of, please send your stories, pictures, videos, etc. to [email redacted]

FINANCIAL HELP Even thought Juana was the primary source of Spiritual force for her family and was as all knew, prepared for the worst. These are different times where Covid 19 regulation and procedure change the normal order of things. This goes without saying adding the fact that Jauanita passed away in the Home land of Santo Domingo. The goal of raising money has been set in order to hopefully cover a known Funeral/Wake expense, transportation of the Body/Remains and the Memorials both here and abroad.. To ensure the home she built with blood sweat and tears in Santiago Domingo did not go to waste. We would love to raise even more in order to allow Donald and her Sons the time and space they need to process this significant and sudden change to their family. Even with insurance Covid 19 has changed all norms and raised the cost of both life and death. The family is comfortable with this being shared in hopes that others would be reminded to please plan for unexpected tragedy. All donations are greatly appreciated, and if we all pitch in, we can help with this financial task for Juana. If you have any questions, or would like to help in other ways, please contact her son Robert k Miliano or at [email redacted]

Continuing in her footsteps- Juana always said “Dios sabe lo que hace, solo necesitamos tener fe '' and believed Faith trusted plan, that everything, including suffering and loss, is good or, at the very least, necessary. Mom trusted that God’s plan is sovereign, and He shapes us in every circumstance we face. Without a doubt, Juana would want us to embrace God’s trajectory of our own lives, and be a beacon of all that is good in the world. We want to continue that beacon by creating a non-profit in her name that is based both here in the US and in her Home In Santo Domingo. So thats she continues to be that force that extends to helping the Ophan kids with clothes and school supplies to, single moms trying to provide meal for the kids or struggling famlies that just need a little extra without any judgement for there plite. We the want to continues to be that guiding force and beacon of hope in her sprit.
