It is with a heavy heart we share this news of Juan's unexpected passing on January 22, 2023. Juan is cherished and this loss has left us shocked and in deep sorrow.

Juan was not only a dedicated and supportive teacher to all of his students but also a caring, honest, and loyal person. Juan's smile and hugs were always heartfelt, one of the many things that will be dearly missed. His powerful poems captivated the attention of many and had a special way of stirring a love for the art. Juan was an incredible person, and we will all miss him immensely.

We will be having a memorial service and repast to celebrate Juan and commemorate his impact on all of our lives. We want to provide an avenue for those that would like to help with upcoming costs and other expenses that will arise.
