Hello, my name is Leslie DeLuna, and I am creating this GoFundMe for Juan Ortega, who was in a tragic car accident on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Juan and his friends/classmates were on their way home from school when they got into a traumatic car accident. The other 3 passengers on the vehicle did not survive and our hearts go out immensely to these families, words can not explain the amount of pain they are going through right now. We are so grateful that God was watching over Juan that afternoon, as he gave him the biggest gift anyone could ask for, and that was a second chance in life. Juan is very kind, hard-working, selfless, friendly, full of pure intentions, and loved by all of his friends, family, classmates, and coworkers.

Although Gustavo and Lolís (Juan’s parents) are extremely hard-working, unfortunately, no one is ever prepared for a situation like this. We’re asking for help with hospital expenses as well as other expenses that come with them not being able to work for the next few days as it is not something that is easily covered. Not only that, but we’re mainly asking for prayers.

We appreciate the overflowing love for Juan and the amount of care for him. And we want to give a huge thank you to officers and first responders on scene.

All funds raised will be used towards medical expenses as well as essential support to his family. Your generosity would mean the world to this family!
