It is with heavy heart that I inform you all that on Tuesday August 24th the westside communities of Firebaugh and Mendota lost a very special, hardworking, loving young man. Juan Negrete will be missed greatly by his co-workers, acquaintances, brothers and sisters in Christ, family and friends. Anyone that has had the pleasure of knowing Juan loved his positive perspective on life. He had the ability to see the good in everyone and everything. Juan loved his job managing almond and pistachio orchards in the Mendota area and enjoyed all the relationships developed along the way. He was strong in the faith of the Lord and believed that everything happens for a reason. We believe he is in the hands of God now.

Juan leaves behind six children; Alexis 21, Andrea 16, Danny 9, Andres 7, Alexa 4 and Gianna 2. While we realize that nothing can mend the emotional pain that the family is going through, we are hoping that any financial contribution you are willing to make may ease some of the burden the family will incur. Juan’s loving wife Xochitl of ten years is completely devastated and is now faced with the task of raising four children under the age of ten all on her own.
