My name is Jackie and I am fundraising for my nephew, Juan Felipe. While he was in Colombia, visiting family over summer break, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He has already undergone surgery to repair injury to his face and mouth, and is awaiting additional surgery to repair broken bones on his leg. We are praying his broken pelvis can heal without the need for surgery. We do not know how long he will need to stay in the hospital or how many surgeries or additional blood transfusions he may need. People have asked how they can help.
