I had a tumor removed from my knee in February and testing confirmed it was cancer. The treatment involves a month of daily radiation out of town, two surgeries, and then several rounds of chemo. My oncologist has informed me that untreated, I have a greater than 80% of developing lung cancer. I'm getting started any day now.
Any funds I raise will go directly to medical bills or expenses directly related to getting treatment out of town. I'm doing my best to stay with friends and family to lower those costs as much as I possibly can. The goal of $7,000 is my insurance maximum out of pocket. That's not to say I that's the max I will end up paying, but it's a hard number I can reach for and feel comfortable asking.
Even if I only raise $5, that'll be $5 I did not have before. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and many thanks if you contributed. I will keep everyone updated as any changes happen.
