Juan Cardona's Funeral Fund

Juan Pablo Cardona was on vacation in Colombia where he was tragically shot in the chest, killing him in a robbery. We are struggling to comprehend the situation as it stands, and the details are cloudy. What we do know is that he needs to be brought back home, and that will incur some serious costs. It is hard to discuss financial strife in a time of such raw pain, but the reality is that it will cost at least $10,000 to bring him back for a proper funeral, which will also cost a good amount.

We are hoping to raise at least $20,000 to help his mother, sister, and the rest of our family to begin the hard task of bringing our cherished cousin, brother, and friend home.

Update: First, and foremost- we want to thank everyone who has donated so far. Early reports are saying that Juan was on a walk with a friend when the two assailants approached on a motorcycle. They drove by and attempted to snatch his backpack. Reports state Juan resisted the mugging, and was struck with a gunshot wound to the chest.
