Juan and Stacey's Story
Juan and Stacey have been together for close to 30 years. They have been there for one another through all trials and tribulations in life and now we need assistance to help them through an extremely difficult time.
Juan was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer, small cell carcinoma, that presented in his throat and lymph nodes in his neck. Small cell carcinoma is a form of lung cancer and Juan is only 1 in 15 people in the entire US that has this form of cancer. He has been through chemo and radiation and it ended with remission but then the cancer cells presented again on a PET scan back in the earlier months of 2021. Juan then underwent surgery to remove 90% of the base of his tongue, his lymph nodes on the right side of his neck as well as his hyoid bone. Even after having surgery, the cancer is still spreading and doctors have given a prognosis of "incurable" and due to how rare this type of cancer is, they are unable to provide any information on how long Juan has left with his family.
Juan is currently undergoing palliative chemo and is home with his family.
Any amount of donation will help at this time so that they can spend time together as a family and not have to worry about hospital bills or any other financial strains that come their way. Thank you on behalf of the Pardo family.
