Support Rosemary's Final Journey

Hello, my name is Loretta Greene Johnson, cousin of the late Rosemary Townsend, aka (Bunny). It with a heavy heart that I share with you that my cousin passed this life unexpectedly due to health complications, the morning of January 30, 2025, at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, West Ashley Charleston, SC. I was by her side during the last week as she transitioned. Rosemary was a dedicated Homecare provider in Charleston for many and also worked tirelessly in early childhood programs in Charleston, including the RISE program where she served as an advocate giving a voice for children and families in need. Within the past year she lost her job and also lost her son to a fatal work accident. She was still grieving his loss at the time of her death. She leaves behind a young grandson, who is now without a father and grandmother. This page is being created as assistance is needed to support Rosemary's funeral arrangements. Your donations will ensure that a celebration honoring her life can take place. Over the past years, Rosemary's small circle of friends in Charleston have become her surrogate family. Please share your love for Rosemary by donating to her Celebration of Life service. She cared for so many over the years, oft times sacrificing her own needs when it mattered the most.
