HELP AMANDA FIGHT BREAST CANCER
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Amber Thompson. My sister is Amanda Dixon. The beloved teacher at East Washington Elementary.
Those of you that know me or that are close with my sister Amanda most likely already know she has been diagnosed with the rarest form of breast cancer. It is stage II and aggressive but, she's a warrior and will fight this with her friends and family by her side.
Amanda has a heart of gold. For as long as I can remember she has been of service to her church, her community and to her family. She has been a dedicated school teacher for 21 years and has guided hundreds of children throughout those years. Before her career began in teaching she was a nanny. She has always had a soft spot for children and helping shape young lives. She has a very hard time asking for help, so I am taking a moment to ask you for a donation, big or small, to help ease some of her financial stress during this battle.
She will be going through chemo, then a major surgery followed by radiation. The road will be long and hard enough without worrying about the bills piling up. She has a high deductible that will need to be met this year and next.
There will be hundreds of Dr. visits for tests, treatments, surgery (hopefully one but possibly more) and follow up appointments. She will have to miss a significant amount of work during treatment, all while raising a teenage son and finding time to spend with her daughter and brand new granddaughter.
If you feel inspired by this story, I have ever touched your life or Amanda has ever touched you or your families life, please help me support her by donating.
Thank you for taking your time to read this. Your contribution is very much appreciated.
