I’m writing this to share what has happened to Chris (aka Seno) and what his recovery looks like now.
Chris was assaulted while walking down the street in Danbury, CT. He has no memory of the incident. What he remembers is playing pool earlier that night, walking toward the car, and then waking up in the hospital. While there is an active police investigation, the lack of clear video evidence has made it difficult to identify who assaulted him.
What is clear is the extent of Chris’s injuries.
He suffered a deep laceration to his forehead, a broken orbital bone, a brain bleed, and multiple skull and facial fractures. During surgery, the surgeon discovered that the orbital fracture was far more severe than imaging initially showed, with no remaining orbital bone, requiring repair using a surgical implant and screws. Work was also done to address fractures in his jaw.
Chris is in significant pain every day, relying on multiple medications, icing, and rest as he heals. His recovery will be long and uncertain.
Because of the severity of his injuries — particularly the head trauma — Chris is unable to work and will be for months. I have taken time off work to care for him, attend medical appointments, and help manage daily needs, creating a sudden and overwhelming financial strain.
This GoFundMe is helping cover medical expenses, lost income, and basic living costs so Chris can focus on healing.
If you are able to donate or share this page, it truly makes a difference. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us — every donation, message, and share has meant more than we can say.
Thank you for helping Chris through his recovery.
