Help Devin Hays fight acute lymphoblastic lymphoma

Hello everyone. Please consider helping Devin Hays and his family as Devin battles T-cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-all). Devin, his family and his hockey family were blindsided when we discovered his diagnosis. Devin is in good spirits as he starts on the road toward beating Cancer! Devin was born and raised in Erie, Colorado. He spends his summers here with his parents, Shannon, Chuck, and sister Maddy. In his junior year of high school, Devin moved to Michigan to pursue hockey opportunities. Devin graduated from Heritage High School in 2019. He was a dedicated and successful student-athlete who played on the Heritage lacrosse team and the Meijer AAA hockey team.

 

After graduation, he went to play for the Rochester Grizzlies and the Oregon Tradesmen in the NA3HL. At the start of this year, Devin began his first year at Iowa State University, where he joined the division 1 ACHA hockey team while pursuing his degree in business.

 

Devin started Chemotherapy on 5/14/22. His treatment will last 8-10 months in the hospital. Followed by three years of ongoing maintenance. It will be a long and challenging road ahead. Devin's spirits are high as he begins this challenge. All the support, thoughts and kind words are making a huge difference.
