Meet Gus our newest little man. Gus is only eight weeks old and although he looks healthy, he is a very sick boy. Gus came to us because he was having grand mal seizures. His mommy couldn't afford his extensive expense and medical needs. Right now all we know is that his platelets are very low and are waiting for analysis of possible causes. The only way to determine the cause of his seizures is to do a scan of his brain (MRI) at a cost of about $2400. It looks like we will have to do another fundraiser to be able to get to the bottom of his seizures.  We have incurred bills of $500 and he still needs an MRI, shots and neuter  if all goes well, plus on going medications.Thankfully Gus doesn't know he is sick and right now is acting like a crazy puppy who bites toes and hangs from my bathrobe while I am walking. We don't know what the future holds for Gus, butwe do know we aren't going to give up on a little guy who has not even experienced life yet. We will update soon as blood results are in.
