I’m here to try and raise funds for my 14-year-old dog, Stewie.

Stewie recently had some issues with a tooth infection, requiring an initial trip to the Pet Hospital, and now a follow-up vet appointment for multiple tests and a surgery.

However, we’ve run into financial hardship recently. I lost a well-paying job and had to jump into loads of debt. My fiancé had to leave hers as well. We’ve spent a lot of money after losing my best friend last year, as well as my fiancé’s brother.

Stewie will need to undergo an echocardiogram in order to check a recently found heart murmur and see if he’s OK to be sedated. Afterwards comes an oral exam and sedation, if he’s okayed in the previous step. Finally comes the extraction(s), which are going to be a lot. Can’t forget the medications and initial exam fees, either.

My expectation is that this will cost close to $2,000, not including the $400 we’ve already spent at the Pet Hospital. Any donation would go a long way for Stewie, and a share would be appreciated. I don’t want to lose my childhood pet and best friend.
