Help Michelle rest & pay rent

Hello, I’m Michelle. I am a queer bodied Mexican-american disabled person.

I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Hashimotos disease (both chronic pain illnesses) which greatly impact me in my daily life. I am unable to function at any “normal” standard and I have not been able to work consistently for the last few months.

My pain flares can last for a day up to three weeks, and they are completely debilitating as I cannot even walk without severe pain. It often feels like I have a bad flu, but every single day of my life. My only wish right now is for more days filled with rest and not stressing about whether or not I will still have a home for me and my little family.

I am currently getting all the medical help available to me (and that is an exhausting process as well). I am constantly poked, prodded, tested and retested while barely functioning as a human but my health is getting worse before we are finding any treatments that help.

I have reached the point where I can no longer support myself financially and I am terrified of becoming houseless and losing my world in the process. My home is my only safe space and I desperately need help to cover monthly bills (and medical).

I’m looking for two months of support to keep me afloat while I wait for my government disability to hopefully be approved. Here is a breakdown of monthly expenses -

My husband is doing everything he can to keep us going but the pressure is suffocating for us both. This ask is coming from a place I never thought I would be, physically very ill and losing hope for the future.
