My name is Jessica Laudermill and I am a longtime friend of Lauren Smith and Robb Dreher. Penelope has been a part of my life just as much as theirs and truly is their baby. She is such a sweet, loving, snuggle bug but is unfortunately in excruciating pain right now.

Lauren has been at the hospital and vet for the past three days to figure out what is wrong with this sweet girl. She seems to have a huge infection in her belly and yelps if you touch her belly at all. She has been drugged up for the past two days and I know it is taking a huge toll on Lauren and Robb's heart still not having all the answers. Then on top of it they are getting slammed with medical bills for all these tests and treatments. If you have ever worked in a seasonal restaurant before you know how hard it can be in the winter and they do so I know that this winter was not a great one financially.

Please help me help them get Penelope the right help she needs right now. If you have met Robb or Lauren you know that they would literally give the shirt off their back to help out someone in need.  They are both the most thoughtful, caring, considerate people I have ever met and two of my best friends.
