Support Debbie's Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out to family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers for help supporting my step-mom, Debbie Kilpatrick, and my dad, Joe Kilpatrick, during an incredibly difficult time.

Debbie was recently diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer that has spread to her spine. This has required multiple surgeries and will mean ongoing, long-term treatments far from home.

Debbie was transferred from their home hospital in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, to UAB in Birmingham, AL, where she can receive the specialized care she needs. Joe is by her side every step of the way, but that means he’s had to take unpaid time off work to be with her.

This has created not only a huge medical burden, but financial stress as well. They still have everyday bills — mortgage, utilities, groceries — plus travel expenses while they are away from home for Debbie’s treatment.

We are asking for any help you can give to support them during this fight.
