I am raising money for my dear life-long friends Daija and Janae Hayes. Daija and Janae are both full-time college students from the Metro Detroit Area. Back in November of 2018, their mother Jacqueline Hayes was laid to rest after a life-long battle with Multiple sclerosis (MS). Their father Dennis provided for his family the best that he could after the passing of his beloved wife, but that came with large stress and even larger financial responsibilities. It saddens me to say that, Daija and Janae lost their father due to COVID-19 on April 7, 2020. Their parents leave behind two hardworking daughters who are unable to work right now due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, bills do not stop. Daija and Janae now are left to mourn two parents in under two years on top of the stress of college and uncertainty about work for the near and possible far future. Daija is studying to be a Physical Therapist and is year short of earning her Bachelor's Degree from Oakland University while Janae was just accepted to OCC's Nursing program for the upcoming Fall. Education was something their parents always prided and pushed them towards. In any other situation, the loss of two parents would be unbearable but at this time with no seen end to the COVID-19 pandemic, this makes their situation even harder. I am asking for donations to help ease this transition of a family of 4 two a 2-sibling household. They are all each other has. They are now suddenly left with tuitions to pay, a mortgage, car notes, utility bills, etc. and no means to do so. Any amount donated is much appreciated.
Rest in Peace Mr. & Mrs. Hayes.
