Thane McConnel

Our sweet grandson, Thane, is 8 weeks old today! He started having seizures almost from birth. They became pronounced after a few weeks. After two, multiple day, stays at UVRMC, in Provo, many, MANY tests, probes and medications, that have not worked, he is now at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

So far, the new medicines are not working either. They have ruled out many things, but have not found the problem or a medicine that stops the seizures.

Our daughter (Brittany) stays by Thane's side! While her amazing husband (Richard) does his best to take care of their two girls, while going to school full time. We (grandparents) assist as much as we can, however in order for the girls to maintain some sense of normalcy, Richard has had to take leave from work and has lost a LOT of wages!

So we have set up this page to help them get through this trying time, financially.  If you are able to help in any way, we would be ever so grateful!
