Paige Merical, along with her friend, Ian Lewis, were caught in a riptide on Emerald Isle on Friday, April 19th, 2019.  Paige has been in the ICU at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC ever since. Sadly, Ian did not survive.  We, Paige’s family, will continue to pray for Ian and his loved ones, as our hearts have continued to break for them every moment since this tragedy occurred.

Paige is loved deeply by her family and friends, especially her parents, Suzi and John. Their world has been turned upside down as they picked up and rushed to Greenville to be with Paige, as well as other family members traveling from all over the country to be by her side as she fights for her life.
