2019 started off with a fire in my heart to head a missions trip.  I am so excited how God clearly matched the desire in my heart with a family that is so dear to my heart.   I met Hortencia and her children on my first Missions trip 13 years ago in Ensenada.  The connection was strong and God clearly brought our hearts for Him together.  Our families were bonded and we have managed to stay connected over the years.  We made a trip there and for the last few years God has made a way for Hortencia and Naomi to come visit us here in Sacramento, CA.  This family has become my family and they are truly dear to my heart!  In 2018 Naomi had her miracle baby, Mariela, which truly is a gift from God.  The economic struggles in Ensenada continue to grow and my family in Christ is in need.  Their home unfortunately is in terrible condition and their need is great.  God put it on my heart to search for an organization to team up with and build on their property.  I got an immediate response from Baja Bound and the divine partnership is making a dream come true!   Baja Bound is an organization that builds homes for those in need in Ensenada, Mexico area.  Together we will build a complete 16x20 foot house with loft and electric wiring! God said YES!!  

While we are there  we will also be visiting a local orphanage where Patricia Cobbs, my dear sister in Christ, will be providing hand made clothes through her "Dress A Girl" Ministry!  God said, YES you will =)  

This is all a miraculous blessing from Jesus!  He has called this team to go be His hands and feet, to love on our sisters and brothers in Christ, and to gather in His name.  Jesus Lives!

The funds being raised are for the cost of the construction materials, equipment, concrete slab, elements needed to complete the 16x20 foot house,  and vans for team transportation around Mexico. 

Mission Details:
Departing for Ensenada Mexico July 12, 2019 and returning to Sacramento, CA July 17, 2019.  The cost for each Team Jesus participant is $308.00 which covers lodging and meals.  The team will be staying at Baja Bound lodge retreat center located in a gate guarded community right on the Pacific Ocean.  The team will drive 30 minutes daily to the build site .  Looking for a team of approx 20=)

Needs for Mission:
Prayer!  Please pray for God to open the hearts of those who are supposed to be on this Missions Trip (yes, it could be you!).  Prayer for provisions, logistics, and for all to experience an encounter with Jesus (those in Ensenada and the team).  It was He that put this all together, there is no way HE is not going to show up for His own party!  If it is on your heart to be apart of this amazing journey with Jesus- Thank You!  Whether it is to go, give financial support, or to be on your knees for this team- Thank You!
