Karen Petersen Needs Your Love and Support as She Deals with Cancer

Karen's journey started when she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Left Breast Cancer in January 2019. She then had chemotherapy, bilateral mastectomies, and radiation treatments. In December 2020, a PET scan revealed Metastatic Breast Cancer; it had spread to her liver and bones, Stage 4. Karen continues with chemotherapy and has recently started cycle 50 on 1/16/25.

During the last 6 years of battling cancer, Karen has also had to deal with the loss of her husband Bob Petersen, her dad Dick Joyce, and her sister Becky Jo Taylor.

Your donations will be used for Karen's out-of-pocket treatment costs, such as travel to and from her frequent appointments, household help, and dietary needs to keep her appetite up.
