Rent emergency

Hi, my name is Jasmine.

Thank you for being here and checking out my story. ❤️

I am a mother of 2 boys- ages 8 and 1.

I have been out of work due to lack of child care providers in my area and the astronomical cost of child care.

Since I’ve been out of work with the postal service I’ve used my paid time off and money saved to get us by- well

I have ran out of funds to pay Januarys rent.

I know, most of us are struggling. The holidays just ended. It’s a hard time for most of us. That’s why I feel…embarrassed, ashamed.. for making this gofund me.  

However, I do know we usually pull together to help each other. ❤️

I’ve applied to every loan company out there- denied - due to not enough credit history-  

I start an at home job at the end of January but my rent is now late and my landlord has made it clear- he wants the rent or he will move forward with an eviction. 

My rent is 2495/month. Anything towards that is a blessing and extremely helpful.

I can’t imagine going through that process with 2 small kids and in the winter time with no where to go! We would have no where to go- I do not have any family around to help me. I can not imagine having to pull my special needs child out of school and put him through that. 

The stress and the worry is becoming truly unbearable.

I would have never thought I would have to create a fundraiser to pay for my rent! Asking for help is not easy. This is quite embarrassing  

But here I am.

I truly have no other options.

This is such an amazing community full of amazing people!! ❤️
