Hello, I want to first start by saying that my father Layne is okay and we are so very thankful for that. We are counting our blessings, he has extensive injuries but they can be treated and he has a good prognosis. He Does NOT currently show evidence of any brain or spine injuries. He has extensive injuries from the crash but he is currently in stable condition.

To those asking what they can do... first and foremost please pray. Prayers are so very appreciated. If you are wanting to help in other ways we have a meal train set up through his caring bridge. He will be in the hospital for quite some time and will not be working for awhile. We are told when he does eventually get to go home he will likely need to be in a wheelchair for some time as he is recovering and gaining strength. Our house will likely require some modifications to make it accessible by wheelchair temporarily such as ramps.
