Mom & Mighty - My Wife Fighting the Battle

My sweetheart of 32 years has been diagnosed with advanced stage 4 Colon Cancer. My son and I have been by her bedside for 13 weeks. Prior to coming to the hospital we saw my wife and mother to our son drop in weight to 103 lbs. I could no longer care for her as she could no longer walk or stand on her own. We were heartbroken to hear the diagnosis. She has already undergone 2 surgeries. Her body has been fighting an infection and has been on antibiotics and will need to continue them so that chemo can start. I had to go on FMLA and as the sole breadwinner I will have to deal with all the medical bills and costs and expenses that we will face while we fight this battle. My wife will require 3 months of rehab and 6 months of chemo to start. This is going to be a long journey. We surely could use all the help we can get.
