Ronnie and Dennis Brucks

In November of 2014 both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer. My father has esophagus carcinoma he had already begun chemotherapy and radiation with hopes of shrinking the tumor. At this point we are awaiting the results from his pet scan. He has lost a considerable amount of weight and is having a very hard time eating food. He is currently working and trying to pay for medical bills but can only work a little bit of the time hes supposed to. My mother was diagnosed with neuroendocrine small cell it was discovered during a routine surgery in her ovarie. The cancer has spread through the lymph nodes and is affecting her whole body. She is currently in a terrible amount of pain and due to kidney problems she is having a hard time getting chemotherapy. There isn't much they can do for my moms cancer it is incurable and the only treatment is chemotherapy. Even with the chemo the drs are saying at best with a good outcome of chemo she could get a few more years but will never be cured. Right now my sister has been paying two mortgages (both houses she owns but my parents have been renting one for a couple years) and trying to help get what my parents need and drs bills are racking up quickly. I live in California and they all live in Florida so I am not able to be there for them. I have offered what ever assistance I can but it isn't enough to say the least. Anyone that knows me knows that I love my family more than anything and I will do anything for them to help ease the suffering. I was not a great child to raise and literally put my parents through hell and I will spend the rest of my life making it up to them like I promised. It is not easy for me to ask for help. but I am begging, please if you can spare anything my family would forever be in your debt. All of the money raised will go to my parents and sister to pay for medical expenses and anything that will make their lives a little less painful. from my family to yours Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
