Help JT pay for a scuba trip to Cozumel

Hi, my name is Jerod Pheonix and I’m starting this gofundme for my friend and dive buddy, JT. He has a C6 spinal cord injury and spends most of his life in a wheelchair. He recently completed his training to become an Open Water Classified Diver through SSI and Diventures. I will be leading a dive trip to Cozumel April 1-8, 2023 through Diventures and am determined to find a way to get JT on this trip. Over the course of the week, JT will be able to get in about 16 boat dives and 2 night dives. The cost of the trip is $1,970, the flights are running about $800-$1,000, and then there’s the issue of incidentals and tipping the boat crew and dive guides. The only piece of diving equipment he is missing is a bcd, but we can put the remaining $500 toward that. Throughout the week we’ll be posting highlights from the trip on our Instagram and Facebook accounts so people who help JT out will be able to see what an awesome experience their contributions made happen.
