JT Michaels passed away from heart failure, Friday, December 4, 2020. His partner of 23 years, Melvin Felton was left devastated, as were his many friends. Many people will remember JT as a Manager/Server at the Denney’s on Lucky Lane and as a member of the Flagstaff Elks Lodge. Prior to that, he worked at Gore in the cleanroom, and Home Depot. He
JT, 55 years old, was a friend to everyone he met. Once you were his friend, he would give you the shirt off his back and be your most diligent advocate. His hobbies included collecting and working on cars and motorcycles, and collecting stereo consoles and vinyl recordings.
In March of this year, JT’s doctor told him, with the onset of the pandemic, he needed to stay home due to his suppressed immune system. During this time, his immune system continued to fail him, until his heart failed the evening of December 4th.
This account is to help his partner, Melvin to cover JT’s funeral and memorial costs.
A memorial service will be held for JT once it is safe to do so.
