Swinburne University Graduate Short Film!
In a single evening, a workaholic watches his life escape him amidst the chaos of a bustling restaurant.
OVERFLOW is an exciting short film being created by Swinburne University Students for their final year of their course. It's compelling narrative revolves around the theme of workaholism, and how neglecting the things and people you love for the perceived success of others has an ultimate and shameful cost. After 3 years of building skills and knowledge, these students are now putting themselves to the test by creating an ambitious film in their final year of study.
The film needs YOUR HELP to be made! The money donated will go towards paying actors, catering, costumes, props, equipment and much more! Filmmaking is a collective effort and we want you to be part of our OVERFLOW Community. People who donate will receive a big thank you on our social media and early-access to big announcements and events coming up!

A Word from the Director
'OVERFLOW draws inspiration from my experience of working in Melbourne's bustling hospitality industry. It's fast-paced, high-stress environment where you've got to complete multiple tasks at once, do it all with stellar service and a smile. When you really nail it, and everyone is working together like a well-oiled machine - it's magic and addictive. Sometimes when you've got those blinkers on and your entire focus is on the waking present, working around the clock, into the night, having a knock-off, sleeping and then repeating it all over again, it feels like time is slipping right through your fingers. Whilst every industry has moments like these, hospitality is a beast like no other, which is why I've chosen it as the vehicle to tell the story of OVERFLOW. I can't wait for you to see it' - Finn Robilliard
