As most of you know Chloe was in a serious high speed collision. We decided to keep it off of social media just so she could give premisssions. She’s ready to share her story now that she’s on the road to recovery.
She was driving home on Bothell-Everett Highway on Saturday night attempting a left turn onto Dumas when she was hit head on. She was found unconscious and intubated on scene. Then rushed to Harborview Hospital for an emergency liver surgery, the surgeons kept her packed and open due to internal bleeding. Once out of surgery we were able to see her.  The incubation tube was left in because of the nature of her injuries. She suffered 2 large lacerations on her face one below her lip and on her chin. Bruising of the lung. Fluid on her heart. It was a scary moment for us. She had the tube until her 2nd surgery to make sure the bleeding in her liver had stopped and to close her up. With all the checking her out they found she’d severely damaged the right Coratid artery.  With her second surgery on Monday we were praying for the best outcome and our prayers were answered, she came out of surgery completely closed without intubation!! She slowly came around out of anesthesia, Jumping days forward  we’re finally out of the ICU now.  Needless to say Its been a rough week all around.
Reality sets in after stress subsides, bills still need to be paid, things move forward regardless, we’re asking if you’d be willing to donate so she can get through this recovery without worrying about paying her monthly bills, upcoming medical and jump start her on saving for a new vehicle.
