Our Beginning
My wife Eli and I got married on November 2016, as all couples do, we had our mind set on a series of goals and dreams and we were ready to make a life together. We knew that as long as we were together and had our health, we would be able to accomplish our goals.
Just a Month Ago
August 2017 - An "incidental discovery".
Life made an unexpected turn, when my doctor ordered a series of exams to determine the reason behind a severe pain that constantly affected my back and abdomen. I was notified that a large 2.5 cm mass was located in my right testicle and that it was very probable that this was in fact Testicular Cancer, no of us were ready for this.
During the last 30 Days
Surgeries and Treatment
Since the diagnosis about a month ago, I have gone through three surgeries and my fist week of chemotheraphy. I was informed that the cancer had left the testicle and spreaded to the lymph nodes, making chemotherapy a must during treatment.
A series of chemotheraphy cycles have been scheduled in order to fight the cancer, my treatment requires me to receive chemotherapy 5 days out of the week, as well as following a medication plan and the appropiate care.
Use of Funds
Due to the severity of the treatment, I was ordered by my Oncologist to avoid work at least for the following four months of treatment. Our savings allowed us to cover part of the first surgery, but the cost of treatment continues to accumulate.
All funds will be used towards my Cancer treatment which include Chemotheraphy, Surgeries, Medications, Exams and all additional costs that come with this situation.
These funds would allow me to focus on my treatment and well being, rather than exploring and digging for ways to finance my treatment. Every cent would be appreciated and used wisely.
Urgency of the Situation
All assistance will be greatly appreciated, as far as urgency goes, in these situations the sooner is always the better, in order to prevent any interruptions during treatment.
