Support Recovery: Help with Monthly Bills

UPDATE (6/17): So it’s not looking too good for me. The surgeon wants to do surgery to put screws in my heel BUT she said if my swelling doesn’t come down we’ll have to postpone the surgery. She’s predicting that I will be out for at least 6 months! I had asked her if within that 6 months of healing, would I possibly be able to be in a boot and walk by 2 or 3 months and she said it could be possible but all depends on my healing process. I literally and utterly don’t know what to do at this point because I don’t know how I’m going to pay my bills being off of work for 6 months with no income. I go to the unemployment office today to see if I can get unemployment benefits. I only have a 3 month forbearance for my mortgage and for my car payment, I’m only allowed ONE skip-a-pay every 12 months. The Cross Church helped me with my water bill this month, but they can only help one time out of a year. I just don’t know where to go from here. I’m afraid I’m going to lose my house and my car will get repossessed. On top of paying my utility bills, phone bill, internet, and car insurance.

I received an injury to my heel on June 10th. I have a broken heel bone and am unable to return to work until I get cleared with no restrictions. I will have to have surgery, and the doctors are predicting that I will be out of work for at least 6 to 12 weeks with no pay. I can't apply for short-term disability at my work because I didn't sign up for it during open enrollment back in November, and the unemployment office is telling me that I could possibly be denied benefits since I'm temporarily unavailable to work due to an injury. I am asking for any help towards my monthly bills and mortgage payment during this time. Any donation is greatly appreciated and helps so I can make sure my bills can get paid while I am out of work for this injury.
