London needs your help

London is going to be so mad at me when he wakes up!

The middle of March London was received a blow to his head which  resulted in a severe brain bleed, and a broken skull. He also had a moderate stroke. We have been spending as much time in one hospital or the other. He originally went to DePaul, which put him on a helicopter to SLU. He received excellent care with the Neurosurgeons and Nurses there.   He is presently at Select Specialty Hospital on the campus of MOBAP. They are caring for him excellently. We are working within the VA system as that is his only insurance.
We are trying to get guardianship and conservatorship of his finances. He has a home loan and his truck payment that we haven’t been able to access. The attorney we are using explained that this needs to be established very quickly. And the funds for court filing and her time are not cheap. I have had to cut  my hours at work so I can be at the hospital. There are also the daily things of the lives we each have been living. My usual babysitting gig with Ilianna ( Colin’sdaughter ) keep me on the edge of sanity on a good day. I would love to have her cousin Louis hang out with us also. If anyone has good cheap ideas for the grandkids to help keep their lives as normal as possible. Please send them along. Louis is staying on his schedule with school.  We would love any kind of help anyone wants to give us. We are getting weary especially on weekends when the whole house is working and sometimes we have Ilianna. And we are not good at asking for help. 

Getting the attorney paid for is our main goal. But we will probably have a ton of additional expenses with nursing home care as that arises. Please help what you can. And know we all appreciate everyone checking on us!
