Jonathan Aubry Snow Ski Accident

Hi everyone, I have set up this fundraiser for my brother Jonathan. He was in a ski accident in North Carolina. He was taken to Mission Trauma Hospital in Asheville, NC.

All money raised will go directly to Jonathan to help with medical bills, insurance deductibles, possible surgery, and having physical therapy. Every little bit of help is appreciated and he will be super grateful for anything. To help show Jon everyone who helped contribute to his recovery, I will be making a personalized puzzle board. For everyone who donates I will get puzzle pieces that I can write a personal message or just name for you on your puzzle piece for each of the pieces or a long message across them. Just let me know in the notes when you donate what you would like your message to say. I’ll post updates as it starts coming along. Once I completed it I will present it to him. Even if you can’t contribute financially (that is totally understandable, we all are feeling the pressures of inflation), he would love a phone call or a visit with lunch as he won’t be venturing out except for doctor appointments until he is recovered. We will also be getting a group of people to help him move out of his apartment, if anyone would interested in helping a weekend with that task. 

About his injuries: He dislocated his femur and broke his hip. The femur was placed back in the joint, however the fracture of the hip joint is going to take quite a bit of time to heal and he might need surgery on it. Jonathan will be out of work for at least minimum 4 months, as he is a bartender and will not be able to perform in his job set. He has a long road of recovery ahead with physical therapy, being non-weight bearing and possible surgery.
