Hi,
On April 17th, I had to take my dog Cooper into the emergency vet at 3 a.m. for surgery. He had been throwing up all day, and after taking him to his regular vet and being sent home with some meds, he rapidly declined through the night.
They found a blockage in his tract caused by a foam cube (still unknown how he got this as there are no soft toys or foam toys in my household).
Due to this emergency, I was left with some hefty vet bills as I did not have pet insurance for Cooper (lesson learned).
His first visit was $400, and then the emergency vet visit was $7800. My friends convinced me to start this as I was not prepared for such a bill.
Thank you,
Destiny & Cooper
