My grandmother has been my sole provider for over five years now, through out all of my high school years, and now my first year of college. She has given me a stable home and helped me financially throughout everything. A few months ago she lost her job of almost 8yrs, as an elderly Private Caregiver, and it's been tough to make it through the rest of the year. I'm a full time college student and I stay at home to save money, instead of taking out loans to stay on campus. I want to be a lawyer in the future, so I'm trying to make financially smart decisions. However, with my current situation it would make it harder for me to have a stable place to live, as we're currently facing eviction. My grandmother has been in her home over 15yrs, and I've watched her work many days of long hours, especially during the Covid Pandemic. She has only recently fallen behind, as the house note and bills are stacking up. In lieu of the unemployment benefits she receives, she's still been avidly looking for a sufficient paying job, because it doesn't even cover 25% of what's needed monthly. Please help with anything that you can, as she only has until Jan.12,2026 to raise as much as possible of the $7500 needed to save her house. Happy Holidays, God Bless, and Thank you to all.
