Help for Michele

Last Sunday my sister, Michele, had a terrible accident.  As she was getting Christmas decorations from the attic above her garage, she fell through the garage roof onto the concrete floor below.  She shattered her T12 vertebra, causing spinal injury and fractured two other vertebrae, she broke 13 ribs, and she punctured her left lung.  She is currently in the hospital and in tremendous pain.  Her movement below the waist is very minimal and we really are unsure of what her long term prognosis will be.  

After Michele leaves the hospital, she will have to spend a minimum of a few weeks and quite possibly longer in a rehab clinic.  Throughout this long process she and her family are going to incur plenty of medical bills and will be without the benefit of her income from the two jobs she works as a volunteer coordinator for a food cooperative that feeds the homeless in Lorain county and as a volunteer manager for a hospice program.
