Christina was admitted on Sunday, May 22nd 2022 with severe sepsis from kidney infections with 2 different serious resistant bacteria that have started to affect her organs. She also has covid for the 3rd time and fighting covid pneumonia. Christina has several really serious life-threatening conditions already. In January she got covid for the 2nd time and had strokes as well as had 2 major arteries in her brain dissected which increases her risk a lot more for even more strokes. She has been very lucky to be alive. Right now her sepsis isn't getting better. Last night she almost had to be intubated due to having a severe anaphylaxis reaction to one of the last antibiotics they had left in their arsenal to treat the infection. Jason is out of leave time (he's a firefighter who works 24hr shifts) because of the accident he had in the beginning of the year when someone ran a stop sign and T-boned him and Riley in the van he was out for months doing PT at the same time 3 days later Christina had her first major stroke where they found Christina's strokes and brain dissections etc. She barely survived the strokes etc after that, She was in the hospital for most of January and feb. The fire and Facebook families are their family.
In Oct she got covid for 4th time along with flu.
Nov- She had dissected 2 more brain arteries and had massive strokes that even as I update this in June 2023 she is still recovering and fighting from.
There is a Walmart grocery wish list, as well as anything really gluten-free, would help. Money is helpful but if you also want to help with anything like electric water etc those can be paid directly to those as well. Anything is a blessing right now. Working in public service and gifting their life to others really shows time and time how much they care for others. We really want them to know they are loved and cherished for their service. Christina is always the first one to help meet a need or send an encouraging word.

t has been a while-
Christina continues to fight the long-term effects of having covid 4 times and multiple strokes She is in Neurophysical therapy 2 times a week, Occupational therapy 2x week, but she keeps needing transfusions on top of the other IV therapies, and Iv fluids. We appreciate all the prayers for healing. For those who want to help in a practical way, helping with any of the utilities would be a huge blessing. It is updated with all the total dues right now. Jason's grandma passed and the funeral is in upstate NY close to Niagra Falls. Christina's prognosis isn't excellent and so Niagra is on the bucket list she made. If you wish to help with that Venmo or Zelle is best. Anything is a huge help right now. Jason hasn't been able to work extra shifts due to Christina needing help still every day. She can still barely walk and struggles to stand for more than 4 minutes with a walker. Anything is appreciated right now. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
