Recovering from Hurricane Ida

Hurricane Ida had a devasting effect on the tri-state area, especially for countless families living in Westchester County. Our Fordham GSS colleague, Laura Sutter is one of those who particularly suffered under Hurricane Ida’s destructive path, sustaining extensive water damage caused by devastating flooding in her home. This has caused tremendous damage and losses to her home that is not covered by insurance. Laura does not think twice when it comes to helping family, friends, students, and anyone else in their time of need. She is truly a positive and unwavering force for those communities lucky enough to have her as a member. We would like to support Laura in her family’s time of financial need.

There are enormous expenses involved in the cleanup and restoration process. The idiom “every little bit counts” is true. Thank you for supporting Laura and her family in their time of need.
