Snowflake Fund is an annual parent-led fundraiser event for our teachers. In lieu of gifts and trinkets, consider a donation to the Snowflake Fund! This means NO stress for you and you can mark your teachers off your gift list.

What is the Snowflake Fund?

The snowflake fund is a parent-led campaign that provides a cash gift from the GHNO community in lieu of traditional holiday gifts (candles, mugs & trinkets) to teachers! It is a great way to get your teachers off your holiday list! One gift and done. This has been a GHNO parent tradition since 2015.

How can I give?

Right here! Through GoFundMe,. The deadline to give is November 30.

How much should I give?

This one-time gift will cover all your teachers, special teachers, interventionists, nurses and faculty who support your scholars. As an example: If you were planning on spending $10 on a mug, candle or Starbucks gifts, you can multiply that by your teachers and make a one-time gift.

How does it get distributed?

The cash collected is divided equally by faculty. In December there will be a snowflake luncheon, where the cash gifts are given with a heartfelt letter thanking them and wishing them a joy filled break!

What if your student still wants to give a gift?

That is what the snowflakes sent home are for! Have your scholar decorate, write up why they love their teacher. Teachers really love these sentimental gifts and hang them in their class or on their doors.
