Noah’s Miracle
Donation protected

On Friday March 1, 2024, 7 month old Noah went to a doctor’s appointment for some suspected neurological symptoms. His parents, Sal and Steph, were then quickly sent to Children’s Hospital where it was discovered Noah had a brain tumor. Immediately, friends, family and even strangers began to rally to provide support and prayers. This support and prayer network helped to lift the family above the looming discouragement and doubt as they fought to look at the seemingly hopeless situation through God’s eyes and not their own.
Doctors informed the family that the tumor was too close to the brain stem to remove fully. Several days later, surgeons performed surgery on Noah’s brain, and much to their surprise, they were able to remove the whole tumor. Praise the Lord! The tumor was sent to pathology and we waited/prayed for the next miracle- a benign diagnosis.
The diagnosis came, but it was not what was hoped for. Doctors informed Sal and Steph that Noah had a rare form of cancer, classified as an atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT). At this point a long road of treatment is anticipated.
Sal and Steph, true to their character, have asked for nothing but prayers, knowing that contending for Noah before the throne of God is the best/only option.
Above and beyond the need for prayers, a battle against cancer can be very expensive. Surgeries, treatments, anticipated necessary travel, and childcare for their additional three children are some of the financial burdens at hand. If you feel led to support this family please do so out of the generosity of your heart.
The name Noah means “rest and peace.” We know that God does not waste suffering, and He is a God of redemption. In the same way Jesus was sleeping in the boat in the midst of the storm, we are trusting that He will provide His rest and peace in the middle of this storm. “For He Himself is our peace.” Eph 2:14
