Mission: Save Toby!!
Toby is a very friendly and happy dog. He loves people and especially loves to lay next to you and be pet by his new found friends. But recently, he has been acting up and hasn't been able to be as playful and energetic as usual. Trying to figure out the problem, I discovered a budge..
Unsure what this growing budge near his rectum was and thinking it might have been a tumor. I went to the animal hospital to get Toby examined. I discovered that he had a bilateral hernia that needed to be surgically corrected immediately. Due to the high demands of the medical bills, I could not proceed with the surgery. And unfortunately have been forced to prolong his treatment because of the lack of funds. Hernias are life threatening to dogs and need to be taken care of as soon as possible. He has been shaking and hasn't been unable to defecate for serveral days now, so it's only a matter of time before his insides will fill up causing his body to shut down, and therefore die.
It's a tough situation when you don't have the means to pay for someone or something you love, and it's worst when they're about to pass because of it. But I have found that there will always be a group of good people out there who really care, kind and loving people who are more than willing to help lend a hand in times like these. I don't want to seem desperate but I been trying for the past few days to figure something out, I've reach out to other foundations and relief funds with zero luck. So, I'm desperately reaching out to everyone and anyone that could spare a few minutes and dollars of their time to help save his life on here. If you don't have the money, I understand.
