Support Adrian's Stroke Recovery Journey

Hello, my name is Maria Gutierrez, and I'm reaching out to all for your help and support during this hard time for our family. If anyone knows my brother, you will know that he is very outgoing, trustworthy, and always helps others in times of need. Now it's time for us to help him during this difficult time. Adrian is a strong 36-year-old who, on Thursday night, suffered a spontaneous hemorrhagic stroke and has been in critical condition since. The stroke occurred on his left side of his brain. The doctors are unsure of the cause, but it's believed it was due to high blood pressure. They are currently trying to manage his pressures by having him intubated and sedated. They have drilled a hole in his cranium to continue to measure his pressures and to help drain the blood. The doctors believe that it's going to be a long journey; they are expecting him to be in the ICU for the next couple of weeks. After that, we'll be able to tell the extent of the injury. The biggest injury that has been noticed has been some imobility/ weakness in his right side of his body. We know that it's going to be a long journey, but he is strong and resilient. We are asking for help and support during this tough time, We are reaching out for any donations that will help with his mortgage expenses and medical bills.

Adrián es un hombre muy fuerte de 36 años que, el jueves por la noche, sufrió un derrame cerebral hemorrágico y se encuentra en estado crítico desde entonces. El derrame se produjo en el lado izquierdo del cerebro. Los médicos desconocen la causa, pero se cree que se debió a hipertensión arterial. Actualmente, están tratando de controlar su presión arterial y esta entubádo y sedádo. Le han perforado un orificio en el cráneo para seguir midiendo su presión y ayudar a drenar la sangre. Los médicos creen que será un largo camino; esperan que permanezca en cuidados intensivos durante las próximas dos semanas. Después de eso, podremos determinar la gravedad de la lesión. La lesión más grave que hemos notado ha sido cierta inmovilidad/debilidad en el lado derecho del cuerpo. Sabemos que será un largo camino de recuperacion, pero él es fuerte y luchador.
