Hi everyone , my name is Kristal, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this .

In June of last year , my husband Walter (36 years old) was suddenly diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure . He had absolutely no warning signs . One day he was working and being the amazing father and husband he always has been , and the next day, we were told his kidneys were failing and that he would need dialysis for the rest of his life unless he receives a kidney transplant.

He lost his job due to his condition , and I’ve had to become our families sole provider while also caring for him and being there for our 3 young children. One of which attends a school for the deaf that requires frequent travel - therefore adding another layer of stress and responsibility.

im doing the best I can but the truth is , we need help. Between medical expenses, supplies , daily living costs , and the time I’ll need to take off once my husband gets a transplant (currently on the waiting list) it’s become more than I can manage on my own.

the money raised here will go toward

•medical bills and dialysis-related costs

•daily living expenses and utilities

•supplies and recovery costs once a donor is found

•support while I take time off work to help him through recovery
