Dana Galloway Memorial Scholarship Fund
Donation protected

Dana has been a part of the City College of San Francisco family since 1983 when she was a student in the Broadcasting department (what would become the Broadcast Electronic Media Arts or BEMA department). She even had her own her own hard rock show on the college radio station! Soon after that, she started working in BEMA.
BEMA was a like a second home for Dana, and she was like a Mom to everyone there, providing support and sometimes even giving money from her own pocket to help them out when they needed it.
Dana’s spirit will always be present in BEMA, and to honor her we have created this memorial scholarship. We intend to offer two scholarships a year to BEMA students, to be awarded on Halloween.
A committee of present and former staff and faculty will work with the CCSF scholarship office to select the winners and distribute the awards.
In this way (and many other ways) Dana will still watch over BEMA students, and continue to see them thrive and succeed.
