Junior's Disaster Recovery Fund

Greetings,

I am Justin, a friend and co-worker of Junior's. Just a couple weeks ago marked Junior's 15th year with our company and he has been a huge part of our community. 

Many of us were lucky to have missed hurricane Delta as it made landfall with winds of 100mph. Junior, his father and two dogs weren't quite so lucky. The heavy rain fall and winds brought down a very large tree onto his home. 


The damage was extensive, and took out a bedroom and bathroom. With no aid from other organizations like FEMA, or insurance, Junior his elderly father, and dogs are stuck living here until they can make improvements. The following weekend his air conditioner's compressor went bad and is out of warranty. Not only are they living in this home with the damage, but they're also living in the heat.


Right now, the area you see above, is only blocked off with some tarp. We are looking to do what we can to raise some money for Junior and his father to help them get their home back into a safe environment to live in. 


Any sort of help would be great. Building materials, labor, and donations are welcome. Junior expects the costs to be around 8,000$ to demo and repair this area of his house. With all of our help, we can come together and bring his family a bit closer to his goal.
