We are bursting with pride to announce that Alexa and Alexander of A+ Martial Arts school in Long Island, NY have made the USA Junior Team as Cadets (14-15yo) in Kumite (Sparring) at the USA Karate National Championships held in Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas. This is the 3rd time for Alexander and 2nd time for Alexa making the team. This year’s Pan American Championship will be held in Asuncion, Paraguay during the last week of August of 2025. In prior years Alexander brought home a Silver Medal from Sao Paulo, Brazil and a Bronze Medal from Santiago, Chile. Alexa has made top 5 in the past.

We are all extremely proud of them and all the hard work these kids put into a long and exciting karate journey. Starting at the age of 4, they’ve spent countless hours training while also excelling academically. Both graduated from middle school this year as Honor Students, with Alexander being inducted into the ARISTA Honor Society.

This isn't just a trip. It's an opportunity to compete on a global stage, bring back valuable knowledge, and prepare for the main event in 2026 – Junior World Championship in Morocco.

Your generosity would contribute to funding the travel, housing, food, equipment, uniforms, training camp and other tournament expenses. The expenses are approximately $5,000 for each athlete. It is not covered by the federation or government.
