Hello everyone,
Writing this is a task that we never thought we would be doing. It still doesn’t feel real. Our hearts are heavy, we have lost our son, father, fiancé, brother, cousin, Godfather and friend. Easton ‘JR’ passed away on Easter Sunday 12 April 2020, our lives will never be the same.
JR was a kind, caring and happy soul. He touched the lives of many, where ever he went he made a lasting impression this is reflected in the heartfelt condolences You have all posted he truly was one of a kind.
Losing JR has broken our hearts into a million pieces. We wake up hoping that it’s a nightmare that just isn’t real. Sadly, we are now facing a reality without our beloved JR. It still feels so surreal. He left us with so many precious memories, memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
Sadly, due to the current pandemic saying a final farewell to JR will not be straightforward. Social distancing and the UK lockdown means that a traditional send off is not possible (for now). We are aware that many of you would like to send us flowers. We are so grateful for this gesture and thank each and every one of you for this. However, due to the restrictions we kindly ask that rather than flowers please can you donate whatever you can spare via cash donation or directly to our Go Fund me page Which will go into a Trust for his seven year old daughter Nevaeh.
We know many of you will want to say your final goodbyes, we are currently trying to sort out how this can be made possible due to the social distancing rules and a limit on people attending the crematorium. We will update you all on the plans, which will probably include a live stream of the service.
When you think of JR, we want you to think of the football and darts loving, funny, caring and genuine guy that he was. For his final farewell, please feel free to wear your football and darts tops. We know he would have liked that. Despite the circumstances, we want to give him a send off that he deserves.
